3 Donna Anne Billy

Beat 4 Grasscutter Moe when winning on debut from a low draw then second to her when out in box 8. Wanganui run had merit. Narrow nod drawing underneath the favourite.

6 Tapu Girl

Winning streak ended when one check led to another down the straight track. Unbeaten in three starts here & ran some sensational sectionals at Hatrick two starts back.

Talented Canterbury visitor looks to have more strength than his local rivals. Qualified well at Addington before competing in a strong sprint series there.

Proved she doesn't belong in this class with a comfortable win on Friday. Should be a straight forward bonus victory in the same grade today.

Continued his resurgence with a front-running win in this class on Friday. Hasn't been as effective here hence the wide open market. Field ticket in the quadrella could reward.

Hard to catch on the right day but she is downgrading on the fresh side & trialled well enough recently.

4 Big Time Maestro

Continues to be competitive with the best & the draw sets up well for him today. Each way.

4 Hendrix Ruler

Followed up his narrow win here with another at Cambridge. Inside pair look to be the biggest dangers.

Clung on for a tenacious win at Hatrick holding out 9 Big Time Tama who is at tempting each way odds.

2 Opawa Simpson

Ended the winning streak of Loveable Rogue down the straight track. Can run fast times here although has been beaten more than he has won.

Beat a number of c3 dogs home when second on Friday. Wide draw should work well for him.

8 Blazing Maeve

Smart dog resuming after many months off but trialled well enough here three weeks ago to suggest that she can make a winning return.
